Volleyball Recap: Gibson Southern Titans vs. Forest Park Rangers
Gibson Southern proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Forest Park Rangers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted against the Rangers since October 6, 2016.
Gibson Southern was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-23, 24-26, 25-14, 15-8.
Mya Wehr and Felecia Eckert certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Wehr had 13 digs and two aces, while Eckert had 14 digs.
