Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Willis). They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Waller Bulldogs on Friday. That's two games straight that the Wildkats have won by exactly five runs.

Willis' win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Waller, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season.

Willis will take on Cedar Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for Waller, they will face off against Atascocita at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Atascocita's pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so Waller's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
