Volleyball Recap: Oconee Christian Academy Gets the Win

Oconee Christian Academy won the last time they faced River Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Royals 3-2.

Oconee Christian Academy wouldn't go down easily and took River Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 24-26, 17-25, 15-12.

Oconee Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for River Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oconee Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tabernacle Christian at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for River Christian, they will take on Friendship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
