Softball Recap: St. Marys Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, St. Marys couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 4-1 to the Bald Eagle Area Eagles on Thursday.

Kelsie Fledderman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

St. Marys' defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Bald Eagle Area, the win was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

St. Marys does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bald Eagle Area, they will take on Susquenita on Monday. The Blackhawks will roll in looking for their 25th straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
