Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Manogue). They breezed by the Carson Senators to the tune of 88-39 on Saturday. Given the Miners' advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Senators are ranked 76th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop Manogue has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Carson, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bishop Manogue beat Carson by a score of 88-39 on Tuesday.
