Coosa Christian had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights 17-0 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Conquerors, who have now won 11 games in a row.

Coosa Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kylen Johnson, Grayson Malone, and Mac Long picked up one apiece. Malone is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in each of the last six games he's played. Coosa Christian got some further help from Radley Mays: he picked up a sack and made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Coosa Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.
