Tri-City Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Guajome Park Academy Frogs. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tri-City Christian was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-4, 25-9.

Tri-City Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Stevey Crowe led the charge by getting 12 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Long, who had 11 aces and six digs.

Guajome Park Academy dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Tri-City Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Coastal Academy on the 26th. As for Guajome Park Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Valley Center on the 26th.
