Baseball Game Preview: Wayland Wildcats vs. Wyoming Wolves

The Wayland Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Wyoming Wolves at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Wayland will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Wayland's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Easton Williams, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one double. Those three runs gave Williams a new career-high. Another was Bredan Byrne, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Wayland's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Wyoming, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.
