Hayliee Roberts was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Payton King, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makayla Unrue, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Steele's record now sits at 13-8. As for Central Crossing, their record is now 10-12.
