It's playoff time, and Elkhorn Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Wisner-Pilger Gators by a score of 57-44 on Wednesday. The win was just business as usual for the Falcons, who after 24 games remain undefeated this season.

Elkhorn Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cameron Rutjens led the charge by putting up 17 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Karlee Broberg, who posted 14 points and five rebounds.

Elkhorn Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Elkhorn Valley's victory was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points over those games. As for Wisner-Pilger, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
