Basketball Recap: Greely Takes a Loss

Greely was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brunswick Dragons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-44 back in December of 2024.

Greely's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Brunswick, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Greely has already played their next game (against Yarmouth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brunswick will venture away from home to take on Gray-New Gloucester at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
