League recap: Harrison races to league-leading run for Clayton Valley Charter

Miles Harrison of Clayton Valley Charter ran for the longest rushing play in Diablo Valley this season against Independence last week. Harrison ran for 68 yards on the play and finished with 188 on the day as his team beat the 76ers.

Northgate added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Las Lomas, 31-17. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Broncos.

Concord's dynamic duo of MITCH DANIELS and MASON KNIGHT proved tough for Bethel to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. DANIELS threw for 455 yards and 4 touchdowns and KNIGHT had 188 yards receiving. RONNIE ALGOOD helped Concord's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 88 yards.

The Minutemen's dynamic duo of DANIELS and KNIGHT proved to be unstoppable against the Jaguars, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

KNIGHT was the best receiver in the league this week as Concord topped Bethel.

DANIELS put up the best numbers in passing as Brian Hamilton's team beat Jeff Turner's team.

He was 35-50 with 1 interception.

Harrison was the best running back in Diablo Valley this week. Teammate Ryan Cooper added to the ground attack by rushing for 36 yards.

The Minutemen's DANIELS and KNIGHT have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. DANIELS has thrown for 846 yards this season, while KNIGHT, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 32 catches for 388 yards. Clayton Valley Charter's Harrison leads the league in rushing yards with 464.

Concord scaled the state rankings by moving to 341 from 412 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Minutemen climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Jaguars 36-33.
