Basketball Recap: Atlantic Takes a Loss

Atlantic lost against Flagler Palm Coast back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Atlantic Sharks lost 65-43 to the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Flagler Palm Coast's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Works, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine assists. That's the most assists Works has posted since back in December of 2024. Kierra Clark was another key player, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.

Atlantic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Flagler Palm Coast, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Atlantic has already played their next contest (against Tournament Team), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Flagler Palm Coast and Deltona will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Flagler Palm Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season.
