Football Recap: Kathleen Comes Up Short

Kathleen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 40-6 defeat at the hands of the Frostproof Bulldogs.

Kylie Smith was a one-woman wrecking crew for Frostproof as she threw for 103 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.9% of her passes.

Kathleen's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Frostproof, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-7.

Kathleen will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bartow at 7:00 p.m. on March 26th. As for Frostproof, they will challenge Lake Gibson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
