Having struggled with 12 defeats in a row, Washington-Marion turned things around against Eunice on Friday. They blew past the Bobcats 57-8. That looming 57-8 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Charging Indians yet this season.

Meanwhile, Hamilton Christian hadn't done well against Grand Lake recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Hamilton Christian had just enough and edged Grand Lake out 50-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since November 21, 2023.

Hamilton Christian's record now sits at 9-11. As for Washington-Marion, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14.
