Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crater). They were the clear victors by a 24-1 margin over the Churchill Lancers on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Comets sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Crater's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Churchill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Crater is set to square off against their familiar foe Thurston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Churchill will face off against rival Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
