Baseball Recap: Stone Comes Up Short

Stone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the East Central Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-4 on Tuesday.

Stone's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for East Central, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.

While Stone had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
