Basketball Recap: Dominic Reeping Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Vallivue

Columbia won the last time they faced Vallivue and things went their way on Friday too. The Columbia Wildcats walked away with a 65-52 victory over the Vallivue Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Columbia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dominic Reeping led the charge by going 6 of 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Keller, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds.

Columbia was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zakary Hogg, who posted 12 points and seven boards. Xander Wilson was another key player, putting up ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Columbia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Vallivue, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
