Football Game Preview: North Rock Creek Cougars vs. Anadarko Warriors + Official Tickets

The North Rock Creek Cougars will challenge the Anadarko Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

North Rock Creek came into this matchup off a tough 34-point defeat two weeks ago. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Plainview by a score of 21-18 on Friday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Anadarko, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 21-14 win over Kingfisher on Friday. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Warriors were the better team in the second half.

Anadarko's defense made their presence known, laying out Jhett Birdwell four times. In that department, Troy Pendarvis was the leader with two sacks.

Anadarko's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.2 points on average over those games. As for North Rock Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
