Monroe is 8-2 against Parkwood since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Monroe Redhawks just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Parkwood Wolf Pack at 7:30 p.m. Monroe has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 171 points over their last three matches.

Monroe can't be too worried about heading out to take on Parkwood: they just beat Anson at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Monroe took down Anson 57-42 on Tuesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Monroe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryson Simpkins, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jysen Shepherd, who went 5 of 8 en route to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Parkwood posted their closest victory since December 28, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past Anson 66-63. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolf Pack.

Parkwood has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points per game. As for Monroe, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Monroe didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Parkwood in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 48-43 victory. Will Monroe repeat their success, or does Parkwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
