Baseball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southridge Raiders. The Musketeers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alton Swartz made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Southridge, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Eastern has already played their next matchup, a 5-3 win against South Central on the 2nd. As for Southridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Northview on the 2nd.
