Northwest Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Estrella Foothills, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Wolves on Saturday. Considering the Crusaders have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Northwest Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Estrella Foothills, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Looking ahead, Northwest Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Benjamin Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Estrella Foothills, they will host Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.36 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
