South Fork (Stuart, Fla.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat
Jensen Beach (Fla.), 35-13, on Saturday.
The Bulldogs were up 21-7 at the half after taking the lead on a
Cody Labanowitz touchdown pass to
Kody Stripling in the second quarter.
South Fork expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. SF's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Stripling.
Stripling played well for the Stuart school in the victory. The junior ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Bulldogs came away with a 46-25 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Jensen Beach, which notched a 10-6 victory over Westwood in its previous outing. With the win South Fork extended its winning streak to four games.
South Fork (4-0) goes up against Palm Beach Lakes in a 6A District 14 game matchup next week, while Jensen Beach (2-3) locks horns with Astronaut in a non-conference game.
