Basketball Recap: Corinth Gets the Win

Corinth won the last time they faced Lafayette and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Corinth Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lafayette Commodores 46-43.

Corinth has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-16 record this season. As for Lafayette, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

Corinth will face off against Clarksdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarksdale will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Corinth surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lafayette, they will take on Bruce at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lafayette is facing Bruce at the right time seeing as Bruce is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
