Soccer Recap: Eastern Randolph Comes Up Short

Eastern Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Moore Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Moore this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Eastern Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for North Moore, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Eastern Randolph and North Moore will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wildcats see the pitch they'll take on Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for North Moore, their break will end when they face Southeast Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
