South Delta beats West Bolivar for their second straight win

Recap: South Delta Bulldogs vs. West Bolivar Eagles

On Friday, The South Delta Bulldogs got themselves on the board against the West Bolivar Eagles, but the West Bolivar Eagles never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 38-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for South Delta, who have now won three games by 26 points or more so far this season.

LaBroderick Williams was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown. South Delta also got a significant boost from Dekevion Miller, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.

The win makes it two in a row for South Delta and bumps their season record up to 4-5. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 42 points. As for West Bolivar, their loss was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.

South Delta will take on Shaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shaw comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for West Bolivar, they will head out on the road to face off against Simmons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Simmons will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
