It was a good run, but  Pawnee Heights unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell  2-0 to the Bucklin Red Aces. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Red Aces this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  2-0  defeat  back in September.
 While Pawnee Heights was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23,  25-15.
 Bucklin can attribute much of their success to  Emmerson Kirk, who  had six  kills and five  digs. Those  six  kills gave  Kirk a new career-high.
Pawnee Heights' loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Bucklin, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record  this season.
 Pawnee Heights wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  defeat against South Central on the 7th. As for Bucklin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-0  victory against Minneola on the 7th.
