Cannon Falls entered their tilt with Kasson-Mantorville on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Komets a 2-0 shutout. This was payback for the Bombers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cannon Falls now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kasson-Mantorville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
