After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wellington, Oberlin was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Firelands Falcons with a sharp 18-5 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Phoenix as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Julian Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Drew Walter was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Oberlin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Oberlin's record is now 3-11. As for Firelands, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Coming up, Oberlin will host Keystone at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight. As for Firelands, they will head out on the road to square off against Wellington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
