While West Cabarrus's win against Reagan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolverines sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Raiders on Monday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but West Cabarrus were the better team in the second half.

They hit Reagan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ayden Torres, Sebastian Mendoza, and Axel Flores.

The win made it two in a row for West Cabarrus and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two games. As for Reagan, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

West Cabarrus didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against Mooresville on the 20th. As for Reagan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Grimsley on the 20th.
