Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Skates Past Harvest Christian with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Victory Christian Academy). They breezed by the Harvest Christian Falcons to the tune of 71-27 on Friday. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 51.1 points per game.

Victory Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Hays, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 14 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Hays is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Myrick, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Victory Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Harvest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Victory Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Atmore Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Harvest Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chilton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th.
