Recap: Belleview Rattlers vs. South Lake Eagles
The Belleview Rattlers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They suffered a rough 58-38 loss at the hands of South Lake. Belleview has not had much luck with South Lake recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Rohm Garcia, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Pina, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Belleview's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for South Lake, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Belleview's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hope Academy at 2:00 p.m. on December 21st. Hope Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games. South Lake won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mount Dora at 5:00 p.m. on December 20th. Mount Dora is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
