Basketball Game Preview: Eads Eagles vs. Primero Bulldogs

The Eads Eagles will square off against the Primero Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eads has given up an average of 49.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Eads took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Walsh. Eads just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

The losing side was boosted by Case Nelson, who posted 15 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Adyn Hough, who scored six points in addition to nine boards and four steals.

Nelson wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Eads was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Meanwhile, after a string of 18 wins, Primero's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Granada by a score of 48-45.

Eads' record is now 8-14. As for Primero, their record is now 21-2.
