Game to watch: Cass Tech hosts King (Detroit) on Oct. 1

Briefly: Peoples-Jones (6-2, 192) is the No. 1 recruit in Michigan. Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State are his top suitors. … Michigan appears to have the inside track on Kelly-Powell. … Wilcher was a world-class hurdler as a teenager and stood out at Michigan in track and football.
