Soccer Recap: Elmira Victorious

Elmira kept a clean sheet against Watkins Glen on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lake Hawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Elmira also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Gracelyn Wheeler and Hailey Hamilton scored both of Elmira's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Elmira's victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elmira will take on Horseheads at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Watkins Glen, they will head out to take on Tioga at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
