Recap: Woodberry Forest Tigers vs. Episcopal Maroon

After losing to the Episcopal Maroon the last time they met, the Woodberry Forest Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Woodberry Forest secured a 34-28 W over Episcopal on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Woodberry Forest.

Woodberry Forest was led to victory by Dyzier Carter and Savion Hiter. Carter rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while Hiter rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. Hiter's longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards.

Woodberry Forest pushed their record up to 5-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points per game. As for Episcopal, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-3.

Woodberry Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Episcopal also has no future games currently scheduled.
