Basketball Recap: Pierre Tissot Key Part of a Team Effort in Wildcats Win

Westwood hadn't done well against Winston School of Dallas recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Westwood Wildcats took down the Winston School of Dallas Eagles 49-33. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 44-31 victory back in January.

Westwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Pierre Tissot, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Tissot is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last six games he's played. Ari Piller was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Westwood and bumps their season record up to 7-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Winston School of Dallas, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.
