Basketball Recap: West Side Takes a Loss

If West Side was feeling good fresh off their 65-41 takedown of Fruitland last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West Side Pirates took a 48-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ririe Bulldogs. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

West Side's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ririe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

West Side will be home for the holidays to greet Firth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ririe, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West Side at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
