Volleyball Recap: Shepard Extends Winning Streak to Five

Shepard came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lemont Lemont HS. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Tuesday.

Oliver Bilik paced Shepard's offense, picking up nine kills. Bilik got some help from Conor Harkala and his 21 assists. Finally, Kamil Antolak kept Shepard's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Shepard now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Lemont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Shepard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Richards on the 12th. As for Lemont, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Agricultural Science on the 12th.
