Basketball Recap: Buchanan Victorious

The Buchanan Bucks beat the Bronson Vikings 53-43 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bucks.

Despite the loss, Bronson still got an impressive performance from Zeb Olson, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards. Olson is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Layne Arver, who posted eight points.

Buchanan's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bronson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Buchanan will welcome Edwardsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bronson, they will head out to take on Reading at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Vikings their first taste of in-conference action this season.
