Basketball Recap: Redlands Skates Past Rim of the World with Ease

Redlands won the last time they faced Rim of the World and things went their way on Friday too. The Redlands Terriers blew past the Rim of the World Fighting Scots, posting a 49-22 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Terriers.

Redlands had a senior duo take command as Kallen Gragg shot 4-for-6 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards and Charlie Schadwinkel posted 12 points and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gragg has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Simmons, who had four points.

Redlands smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Redlands has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Rim of the World, they dropped their record down to 0-17 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redlands will face off against Citrus Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rim of the World, they will square off against Fontana at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
