Colon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Mendon Hornets by a score of 11-8. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-3 win on May 7th.

Colon's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Mendon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Colon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-4 defeat against White Pigeon on the 29th. Mendon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
