Christian Brothers had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Inderkum Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since March 3rd.

Christian Brothers wouldn't go down easily and took Inderkum into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-19, 25-18, 15-25, 15-10.

Despite the defeat, Inderkum saw an underclassman step up: sophomore David Bui had 18 digs and two aces. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Bui.

Christian Brothers pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Inderkum, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Christian Brothers has already played their next matchup (against Jesuit), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Inderkum, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bella Vista at 6:30 p.m. on April 7.
