Basketball Recap: Timber Creek Regional Takes a Loss

Timber Creek Regional had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 58-51 to the Middle Township Panthers on Saturday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Middle Township to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amir Elston, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 22 points. Those 22 points gave Elston a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamir McNeil, who went 7 of 15 en route to 19 points and four steals.

The victory was the third in a row for Middle Township, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Timber Creek Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-55 defeat against Shipley on the 22nd. Middle Township and College Achieve will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
