Peyton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Swink Lions as Peyton made off with a 9-0 victory. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 7-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Zayden Ebbert was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Noah Martin was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Peyton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Swink only posted an OBP of .333.

Peyton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs this season. As for Swink, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Peyton will be taking part in a tournament against Centauri at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Swink, they will challenge Calhan at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
