Cherryvale is still winless after their matchup against Southeast on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lancers. On the bright side, the ten- run effort marked the Chargers' highest-scoring game to date.

Ethan Umbarger was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Luke Elliot was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
