Football Game Preview: Gooding Senators vs. Buhl Indians + How To Watch

Gooding is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the Buhl Indians at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Gooding beat Mountain Home 23-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Senators.

Gooding's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cougar Stockham, who threw for 180 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 84 yards. Rio Curtis was another key rusher, rushing for 82 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buhl). They blew past Wood River, posting a 41-7 victory. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Buhl's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Gooding, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Things could have been worse for Gooding, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 32-14 loss to Buhl in their previous matchup back in October of 2024.
