Sunrise Mountain dropped down to 5-5 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the Cactus Cobras 55-17. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 53-0 to the Cobras when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Cactus, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Considering they have won five contests by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cactus' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Robert Bell, who picked up 137 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Those four receiving touchdowns gave Bell a new career-high. Tevin Marrufo was in the mix as well, providing Cactus with two TDs.

As of now, neither Sunrise Mountain nor the Cobras have any future games scheduled.
