Recap: Taylor Wildcats vs. Atlantic Sharks
The Taylor Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Atlantic 56-6. Taylor has struggled against Atlantic recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Kwasie Kwaku jr was his usual excellent self, rushing for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Kwaku jr's longest rush was for an incredible 83 yards.
Atlantic's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Preston Kuznof and Caleb Geathers who racked up six sacks between them.
Taylor has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Atlantic, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taylor will take on Father Lopez at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Father Lopez is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Atlantic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pine Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine Ridge is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
