Softball Recap: Queen's Grant Comes Up Short

Queen's Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-5 to the Hickory Grove Christian Lions. The Stallions were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Lilly Lowry was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with four RBI and one run.

Queen's Grant suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 13-4. As for Hickory Grove Christian, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Queen's Grant will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Hickory Grove Christian, they will square off against Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
